株式会社サガンドリームス代表取締役社長　井川幸広氏がＪリーグ規律委員会の公式発表を受けたコメントを発表。

結果で評価される選手にとって、試合は常に真剣勝負であり、試合は成立しても、せめて選手の警告については、ビデオ等を参考に再度審議をしていただき、説明できる回答をいただきたいと思っております。（中略）私どもの過ちにつきましては、責任もって早急に対処しますので、その要因となった当クラブからの質問状に対する回答を良く検討させていただきたいと思います。

多くの方々の支えにより運営されているクラブの性質からしても、コンプライアンスを厳守し、きちんとディスクローズすることは当たり前の責任だと認識しております。私たちサガン鳥栖は、こうした事の一つ一つを軽視せず、常にJリーグへ問題を提起してまいります。正しいと思うことを正しく問いただすクラブであり続けることが、サガンの地にサッカー文化を浸透させ、「人づくり・まちづくり・夢づくり」を具現化できるものと確信しております。

When I was in school (before desegregation) we did more; learned more; and were more excited during Negro History Week than I see now in a whole month. We used our recognition to grow. When Negro History Month was declared, there were a lot of people who complained that of course we would be given the shortest month. Our statement was “Who else has a whole month no matter how many days?” We can throw away the barrel or make apple sauce and feed people. We can complain and give lip service or use our resources and DO SOMETHING.
